Apres Ski in Tignes
Tignes offers a host of exciting aprés-ski activities. There is an ample choice of venues for everything from a quiet drink to a lively night out with each village having its own distinctive character and a large selection of bars and restaurants. Where you spend most of your time will probably depend on where you are staying but try and make use of the free 24 hour bus and take a look around the resort.
The three main villages in Tignes are Val Claret, Le Lac and Le Lavachet, and to get the most out of your holiday in Tignes we strongly recommend you make the effort to visit them all. Each village in Tignes has it's own unique feel and atmosphere and having a variety of nights out will really add to your holiday.

The Crowded House is one of the best bars in Val Claret, Tignes and certainly lives up to its reputation.
Run by Crystal, and situated in the basement of the hotel Curling, The Crowded is much more than your average hotel bar with table football and themed parties attracting a young mass of mainly British seasonnaires and pro-snowboarders. Well known for its crazily busy fancy dress theme nights - be prepared for a monumental night out.
Until 10pm the bar is fairly chilled out, and then after that it really heats up - it's close to the two nightclubs in Val Claret meaning that it's usually heaving with party people, with DJs every other Saturday and a mix of hip hop and chart music

Jeremy has created one of the best known bars in Tignes, especially amongst the english. Situated in val claret centre, by tufs chairlift and at the bottom of the piste which runs into val claret. Relax on the sunny terrace with a homemade burger, panini or a full English breakfast (at weekends) as well as many other snacks.
After dinner the bar is buzzing with both seasonnaires and holiday makers and is the place to head to watch sport, play pool or listen to live music. Cafe 11am - 7pm, Bar 'til 1.30am.

The Loop is a fantastic venue for apres-ski with the best of both worlds, a sun-drenched terrace with a great view, and a large bar with big sofas and a log fire. These attributes added to a brilliant chef make this an ideal lunch stop, the menu has a British feel with crispy duck pancakes, Thai curry and a great Caesar salad, plus the best burgers in the Espace Killy!
At night the bar is exceedingly popular with seasonaires and holidaymakers alike, all enjoying its friendly atmosphere to great tunes and expertly made drinks. Only bar in Tignes with no TV so conversation is guaranteed. The theme parties here are legendary and so are their delicious flavoured vodkas.
