Chalet Le Bois de l'Ours is located 50 metres from the ski slopes and lifts of the high altitude ski resort of Tignes Les Brévières. Virtually you can put your skis on at the doorstep of your chalet and you can ski straight down to the lifts. At the end of the day, you can get back by a small ski lift close to your chalet. This recently built beautiful chalet is unquestionably one of Tignes' finest and offers guests luxurious accommodation.
Bright, warm, very spacious and characterised by traditional Savoyard wood and local stone. The spacious living and dining area is particularly charming with a wonderful huge fireplace as the main focal point, traditional plaster walls and delightful oak beamed ceiling. The elegant living room feels like a mountain 'refuge' with comfy sofas, a large flatscreen TV and DVD/CD player.
Doors lead out on to the terrace with views which are simply stunning as they extend over the lake towards the ski slopes of Les Brévières. Each of the seven cosy, timber-clad bedrooms is superbly finished with full en-suite facilities with a marble hand basin, a flatscreen TV and the views from the large windows throughout the chalet never let you forget what a wonderful location you are in.
Almost all bedrooms have a balcony. The chalet has also an indoor cycle, a professional hotel kitchen, a ski room with a ski boot dryer, cots and highchairs. You can park for free at this chalet our in the parking garage next door. |

Catering: | ::back to top | | The chalet staff are chosen for their excellent culinary skills and will provide tempting menus to satisfy the hungriest of skier. Your day will begin with a choice of continental breakfast, to include cereals, yoghurts, fruit, bread & croissants accompanied by fresh coffee, tea and fruit juice.
Afternoon tea will be ready for your return from skiing. Before dinner is served, you will have a chance to relax with a drink. You can look forward to a delicious three course dinner, prepared with interesting and varied ingredients finished off with fresh coffee. One glass of wine is included free of charge with the meal. Our chalet staff will be happy to cater for vegetarians or any special dietary requirements.
Your chalet staff will have one day off during the week. Breakfast will be provided, but in the evening you will have the chance to sample one of the many restaurants in your resort, which your chalet staff will be happy to recommend and book for you. |
